AU: Distant Past Setting: Apocalypse AUAU: Distant Past by redshadow1234
Kali flys backwards through the air before landing in a half crouch and skidding backwards, her long white hair flowing forward in front of her. She completely crumbles to her knees as she comes to a stop, breathing heavily as she tries and fails to stand.
Her battle with the ice demon Verbatim had been raging on for over a week now. She'd had the upper hand in the beginning but-
She grimaces as the patch of ice on her arm grows bigger. It starts to turn a deep red as it breaks through her skin. At this rate, the ice is going to drain all of my power and force me to bleed out... damn me for being so careless when my friends are counting on me....
She looks up when she hears a multi-toned chuckle, her face partially obscured by a curtain of white hair. She inwardly curses herself a second later when her black and orange eyes meet his blue and green, shifting eyes, freezing her where she was like an statue. "I must say I expected better from th
Battle for Eradica City Chapter 1Battle for Eradica City by redshadow1234
It's the hardest won battles that always have the most causalities at the end of the day, something I didn't really believe until now. It's been two years now since the Commander, aka Azalea Morgenstern, took over the city [and God knows what else] with her undead army of angels and revived legion of archangels. Our numbers have dropped drastically...
A young man with silvery hair sighs before he clicks the button on the recording device and runs a metallic hand through his hair, his vibrant blue eyes dull with exhaustion. He couldn't sit there and record who they'd lost. Not so soon after the blood bath that'd just happened. "So many people lost... and for what?" He mumbles to himself as he stands up.
"You know why."
He starts and spins around when he hears the voice, his eyes locking on a woman with red-tipped black hair and icy blue eyes. She looked just as tired as he did, if not more so, though her eyes stills burned bright with determination among other things.
Dark Alleys and Stab Wounds A young man with silvery hair staggers into an alley. One of his hands is pressed tightly over a gaping wound-blood leaking through his metallic fingers-while the other is flat against the wall so he's steady enough to walk. His breathing is heavy, accentuated by the black mask that concealed all of his face except for one cerulean eye. His legs give out from under him and he hits the ground with a pained grunt. He slowly pushes himself into a sitting position with one arm before leaning against the wall behind him, his breathing more labored now as he tried to control the amount of pain he was in. He leans his head against the wall and closes his eyes, determined to convince himself that he'd been through worse...Dark Alleys and Stab Wounds by redshadow1234
He snorts. He had been through worse. A small stab wound from saving his main priority was nothing compared to the Hell he'd been through in order to get to where he was now. Not that it would've been his first c
The Most Unlikely of Friends- Chapter 1Chapter 1The Most Unlikely of Friends- Chapter 1 by redshadow1234
It was a cold night in the Windy City. The wind howled and nipped at any exposed skin while the acid rain drenched the unfortunate people that had to walk in it, soaking them to the bone. The only light in the city was provided by the street lamps, their yellowish glow attempting to make up for the lack of moonlight.
There was a clap of thunder that was shortly followed by a blinding flash of lightning that cut open the night sky and briefly revealed a figure standing on a rooftop. As the rooftop darkened once again, only the figure's vibrant, acid green eyes were easily seen.
And there was a great deal of displeasure in them.
The figure's raven hair blew slightly in the wind, though it mostly clung to his face as water dripped from it and down his face. He'd been in the rain for an hour now waiting for some mysterious woman that would "make him an offer he couldn't resist". 'This better be good or I swear I'll go Cujo on her.' He thought bitterly as he leaned aga
